1 Chronicles 20-1 Chronicles 24
I’m editing the comments section for both these episodes at once, but you wouldn’t have known if I didn’t tell you. I could have just said “Nothing happens.”

I’ve been trying to catch up for about a week now. Just got to Exodus. I don’t think I would’ve ever gotten through Genesis if I hadn’t “DREAMED A DREAMMMM!” Good stuff. Haha
Thank you, Thomas. Your readings are helping me to get through the bible myself.
All through the summer (2013) I listened to your podcasts (catching up) while I was painting 14 window frames four times, sanding between each coat PLUS all the little sticks of beading (14 x 4 x 6). I felt like I was painting the ark of the covenant over and over and over.
So – THANK YOU! You make me laugh at the absurdity of it all.
I’m reading the bible myself and I’m up to Lamentations, which appears to be another repeat of the earlier Jeremiah chapter. It’s hard to remember how often stuff gets repeated. Your podcast is useful to recap chapters I’ve already read but have forgotten, so that helps with remembering some of the characters and where they fit in with each other. I don’t know about you but, when I’m reading it, it doesn’t really sink in but having it read to me seems to help retention.
I hope you can keep up the effort, no matter how repetitive and boring it can get.
I’m waiting for the chapters that go on to prove, in a scientifically testable way, that this god character actually exists. So far, I’m not convinced.
